Trolley_bell_8On Saturday, October 16, Michael Brown, renowned artist and the painter of the majority of the murals in Chapel Hill will conduct a Trolley Tour of the local Murals.  The tour will begin and end at Framer’s Market and Gallery and will include a day of family activities at Rams Plaza with a live jazz band (sponsored by Bailey’s Sports Grill) and food and entertainment.  We will hold a photo contest designed to celebrate these local works of art.  There will be a performance by “The Bouncing Bulldogs” and a “Chalk on the Sidewalk” event for kids.  Space on the Trolley is limited, so call today to reserve your spot 919-929-7137.  The first trolley leaves at 10:00am and the second tour at 12:30pm and the cost is $25.  Your Trolley ticket price will benefit the “Painted Walls Project” to preserve and restore these precious local landmarks. The main focus of this year’s restoration effort is “The Sea Turtles” on Columbia Street – so join us to help “SAVE OUR TURTLES!”.   Come for the tour and stay for the fun!    BRING YOUR CAMERA!!!
